Cambodian-born and British-trained, he spent over a decade perfecting his craft at an award-winning Royal and celebrity hair & beauty salon in the heart of Chelsea, London.

So he’s a Chelsea original, now proudly calling Cape Town home.

Also trained in fine art and graphic design, his attention to detail and artistic hand show in every head of hair he creates.

Calm, relaxed and endlessly curious, Richard enjoys a challenge but he takes just as much pride in a simple touch up or a trim.

Understanding that colour is a form of self expression, he tailors every technique to the client in the chair, whether it be taking special note of skin tones and desired hues, or concentrating on maintaining hair integrity or vivid effects. His skill is in the details.
