Clayde is Jozi-born and London-trained, where he spent over a decade building an international career and collecting a few shiny things along the way — including two British Hairdressing Awards and several more nominations for good measure.

During his time abroad, Clayde travelled extensively as an International Colour Ambassador for Wella, sharing advanced colour techniques with salons and artists around the world. The experience sharpened his eye for precision colour, technical problem-solving, and the kind of detail that turns good hair into great hair.

Now firmly rooted with scar in Cape Town, Clayde continues to bring that global experience to his work behind the chair and in the classroom. Known for his calm approach, technical skill, and a slightly obsessive attention to detail, he specialises in colour work that is modern, considered, and tailored to the individual.
